|
Mr. Vu Duc Giang is the Chairman of Vietnam Textile & Apparel Association from 2010. With 34 years of experiences in Textile and Garment Industry and held a postion as Director General/ Chairman in Vinatex Group. He graduated University of Economics, HCMC.
He held position as Director/ Director General of many textile and garment companies, such as Vinatex Trading Co – HCMC, Service Company No. 2, Phuong Dong Joint stock Company…
Now, he is also Chairman of Board of Garco 10 Corporation, Viet Tien Garment Corporation, Bao Minh Industrial Zone and member of the Executive Committee of AFTEX, AFF.
He has great contributions to the success of Vinatex – a big group in Textile-Garment, Vitas and Vietnam textile and garment industry.

Mr. Truong Van Cam

Mr. Truong Van Cam graduated from University of Labor Economics at Leipzig University in 1978, and holds a PhD in Economics in Germany in 1994.
Prior to working at Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association, he worked at March 08th Ha Noi Textile Factory, Union of Textile Factory, Vietnam Textile and Garment Corporation, Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union and Vietnam Textile and Garment Association.
Mr. Truong Van Cam has had more than 20 articles that had published on some of specialized magazines in foreign countries and domestic with the subject of economic transition in Vietnam and Eastern European countries, the management of human resources, minimum wage, industry collective bargaining agreements…

Mr. Vo Manh Hung

William Hung started his career with Mitsui & Co., Ltd- a Japanese trading house. He was in charge of sales of textile materials and execution of garment orders. He ended up at Mitsui as the Assistant to Section Manager after 7 years. Then, he joined JC Penney Purchasing Corp (Vietnam) – a subsidiary of US retailer JC Penney as the merchandising manager. From 2007, William Hung has been working for Cotton Council International (CCI) and Cotton Incorporated (CI). He represents for both organizations in Vietnam as consultant and country representative.

Mr. Huynh Tien Dung

Mr. Dung started his career with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for 10 years. Before joining IDH in 2017, Mr Dung also holds some key positions such as Sustainable Landscape Team Leader with SNV, and Conservation Program Manager with WWF Vietnam. During his whole career, he has been working on environmental sustainability issues of numerous areas including agriculture, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, green growth, climate change, biodiversity conservation, etc. Since with IDH recently (2017), he began to work on collaborative improvement programs/projects that focus on the social and environmental impacts of textile and footwear sector in Vietnam.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai yen

Ms. Hai Yen joined CNV Internationaal, part of CNV (the 2nd largest trade union in the Netherlands) in 2017, bringing with her extensive knowledge and experience of social dialogue including collective bargaining. She is managing the project: “Promoting effective social dialogue and collective bargaining in garment sector” implemented in cooperation with Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Vietnam Garment and Textile Association and Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs. She used to work for different technical cooperation projects of the ILO Country Office for Viet Nam for over 10 years in the field of industrial relations, minimum wages and labour market information. She graduated from Hanoi University in 2004 and earned a master of science degree in gender and development studies from Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok in 2008.

Experienced consultant in the worldwide Social Compliance industry. Gerwin has a textile engineering degree, a bachelor degree in business administration and a graduate degree in Socially Responsible and Sustainable Apparel Business from the University of Delaware.

Ms. Eileen Ng

Ms. Eileen Ng is the Deputy Project Director of ITMA 2023, the world’s largest international textile and garment technology exhibition. She is also the Head of Marketing and Events. Her journey with ITMA started with ITMA Asia 2005. Since then, she has played a key role in the successful staging of ITMA Asia in Shanghai and ITMA in Barcelona and Milan. Her previous experience in events organising also included many high profile global and regional events such as APEC Summit 2009, Singapore and World Expo 2010, Shanghai.

Ms. Duong Thi Viet Anh started with Fair Wear in 2010 as an auditor. Over her years at Fair Wear, she now is heading the Vietnam local team, representing Fair Wear in Vietnam, and managing stakeholder relations.

Holding a master’s degree in International Relations and Development Policy, Ms. Saskia Anders has more than ten years of work experience in the field of sustainable economic development. In 2011, she joined GIZ and has since then worked in different projects related to private sector development and sustainable supply chains in Germany and abroad. In this context she has closely followed the debate and legislative processes around Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence and Responsible Business Conduct. In her current position she is the team leader for the Sustainable Supply Chains and Circular Economy projects at GIZ Viet Nam.
