Mr. Le Tien Truong is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group. He used to be an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics, Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Human Resources Director of Coats Phong Phu Co., Ltd; General Director of VINATEX.
Mr. Le Tien Truong graduated from Hanoi University of Technology as a mechanical engineer in 1994 and earned his Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Asia Institute of Technology in Thailand, 1997. Subsequently, he was trained through various executive leadership programs in the United Kingdom (Ashridge, 2001), France (INSEAD, 2002) and the United State of America (at Harvard Kennedy School in 2009).
He is the Head of the independent state-level project "Research and assess the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on Vietnam's textile and garment industry to propose strategic orientations, policies and development solutions in the period of 2019 - 2030", and is also the author of more than 100 scientific articles in textiles topic mainly, which have been published in local and foreign journals.
